Bath offers a rich diversity of museums, galleries, gardens and attractions including the Roman Baths and the splendid Tudor Abbey. Assembly Rooms - Once considered to be among the most elegant buildings in Europe, the Ball Room, Octagon, Tea Room and Card Room of Baths Assembly Rooms were used in the eighteenth century for dancing, music, card playing, tea drinking and conversation. The famous Museum of Costume is also located here.

Museum of Costume - The Museum of Costume was opened in the Bath Assembly Rooms in 1963. It was the creation of Doris Langley Moore, a designer, collector and historian, who gave her famous private collection of costume to the city. The collection features dispays on fashionable dress for men, women and children from the late 16th century to the present day.
The Royal Crescent - The magnificent crescent was completed in 1774 after seven years construction. It is made up of 30 grand houses, ornamented with 114 Ionic columns. The elegant sweep of lawn in front of the crescent is separated from the park below by a ha-ha, a cleverly constructed wall, invisible from the street above and built to prevent sheep and cows from straying onto the crescent.
